Joel Ayon, DMD

Dr. Joel Ayon was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona. He earned his Bachelor of Science is Biochemistry at Arizona State University graduating Summa Cum Laude. After, Dr. Ayon had the rare opportunity to attend The University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and was awarded the Penn Dental Medicine Dean’s Scholarship. He went on to earn his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D.) with awarded honors in oral medicine and community service.

After earning his degree, he was able to complete an arduous Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine–Montefiore Medical Center, one of the countries top programs. While there, he received extensive training in all facets of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery including dentoalveolar, dental implant reconstruction, guided bone regeneration, anesthesia, maxillofacial trauma,
orthognathic surgery, and oral pathology.

While Dr. Ayon practices full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial surgery, his primary interest lie in dental implant rehabilitation/reconstruction, guided bone regeneration, and dentoalveolar surgery. He makes it a priority to stay at the forefront of his field through continuing education and staying current with advance cardiac life support and pediatric advance life support training. Dr. Ayon understands how important it is for his patients to feel safe, comfortable and confident while receiving the best Oral & Maxillofacial surgical care in a high quality and professional environment.

Dr. Ayon is also fluent in Spanish
